(Episode - 2)
Sarat astonished and stopped even breathing. Till then he is with her in dreams, enjoying her company in multi cousin restaurants, dream parks, shopping’s, walking on busy roads touching hand to hand and drowning in love floods. All his dreams became catastrophe. What to do? She already left the train. He is blaming himself for not prolonging the conversation with her not knowing the details of her. He only knows that she is studying in Bangalore, if so why she got down in between? May be she is going to some other place now. But he decided that she is going to Bangalore.
What a fool I am. He couldn’t tolerate the situation, unable to bear the pain. Till now he didn’t experienced such pain in his heart. He is remembering the moments with her and the conversations with her… She is interested to read books while travel, she likes to travel and visit historical places, temples. While talking over phone she told that she is “Bujji” may be her pet name. In general she is very reserved so couldn’t progress much on chatting. That too he wanted to build up a beautiful life with her so he didn’t want to lose her impression on him so maintained dignity. She told that she is studying PG in Bangalore, there the misunderstanding took place. Sarat presumed that she is going to Bangalore.
Why I should worry about her? Who is she? She is just co-passenger boarded somewhere and got down some where why should it be taken so serious? Leave it now. He tried to convince his heart with these counter words. After quiet moments he understood that he failed in his attempt to pacify his heart.
He is noticed the curtain of tears on his pupils. Train is crossing Gooty station; he is unable to notice anything. His wet eyes noticed below her berth … the magazine which she was reading all the way. He grabbed it and opened and scanned it with curiosity to search something which he missed. On the first page after cover page he found the beautiful letters written a beautiful name “Meghana”. Oh he is very exciting to find her real name. Meghana Meghana Meghana his heart is swinging with the name as like the boat on the waves. Meghana what a beautiful name as like her, he appreciated her parents for giving her such a name.
He got an idea and approached AC attendant, he might know where she got down. Initially the attendant is not ready to tell but one hundred rupee note transferred to him so told that she got down at Guntakal. Oh she just left the train and the train moved from the station and Sarat woke up. What a miserable missing it is.
Mobile ringing… so Sarat came to the presence from the thoughts of Meghana and lifted it. Phone came from Anant very close friend of Sarat, not only friends both are roommates but working with different organisations. Sarat’s disturbed voice he got it and asked what happened? Sarat, “I missed my soulmate”,
“WWhat?”
“Ah I got my soulmate and before knowing her she left the train”
“Where are you now”
“Approaching Anantapur”
“Train journeys are like that only, leave it and be happy. Come down here I am feeling bore yaar”
“No I am getting down in Anantapur.”
“Why”
“I want to find her”
“Where you will search? Don’t be foolish. Come down here”
Sarat cut his phone and lifted the luggage and got down the train in Anantapur.
